Support Specialist
Direct care worker provides personal care which includes but not limited to assisting participants with bathing, feeding, toileting and grooming; training to develop independent living skills and; assistance for the participant in accessing the community. Support specialist must be willing to learn a variety of communication modes including sign language, pictures, and symbols.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old or have a High School diploma/GED.
- Must be able to lift at 25 lbs
- Must have a current drivers license
Location
HandsOn office and homes are located in the San Antonio medical center area.
Positions available for full-time, part-time or weekend staff
Three shifts - 7:00am - 3:15pm, 3:00pm - 11:15 pm and 11:00 pm - 7:15 am
