Eligibility

Applicants for services must meet the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) eligibility criteria which include:

Legally blind (visual acuity of 20/200 in the better eye)
Legally deaf or have a hearing impairment that affects speech
One or more disabling conditions that impairs ability to function
Meet criteria for Medicaid Eligibility
Be a United States Citizen

Referrals to HandsOn are made through the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). For more information or to be put on the deaf-blind waiting list, please contact:
